The exciting return of Steven Caulker

As I write this, Swansea City are relishing the return of young Steven Caulker from injury. The England U-21 star suffered a knee problem back in September after colliding with a post during the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates. The Swans back-line had have been lacking the quality the 20-year-old brings to the defence for the best part of three-months following the injury.

Tottenham transfer rumours

The transfer window is almost upon. 31 days of countless rumours linking Spurs with a host of players. With that in mind, I love a good rumour. With that in mind, below are a number of movers and shakers that have already been mooted by “ITK’s” despite January still a good four days away.

All I want(ed) for Christmas….

The Transfer Window re-opens a little over six days time and with it, the rumour mills begins its running for a month or so with this club being linked with that player up until the clock ticks over midnight on Sky Sports News, Jim White seemingly about to spontaneously combust with sheer excitement. Tottenham have been particularly quiet in recent windows, with no less than eight senior players making the move to White Hart Lane over the last 18 months. However, below are the three signings To the Lane and Backare hoping Spurs make over the next 31 days of January.

Who could the special signing be?

Silly season will soon be upon us and with that said, the rumour mill will be working in overdrive linking this player to that club for a solid 31 days. Tottenham are generally one of the noisier teams during the transfer window, despite the incomings depleting in recent times. That still hasn’t stopped the North London giants being linked to a host of players next month while Harry Redknapp has admitted that should a ‘special’ player become available, he will be back by chairman Daniel Levy. To the Lane and Back investigates the five players that could be making the move to White Hart Lane in the New Year.
