Tottenham

After an impressive 6-1 victory over the Italian giants Inter Milan, the London club Tottenham Hotspur will now be preparing themselves for their first Premier League clash of the season, which will be against Ronald Koeman’s side, Everton.

The Lilly-Whites gave an impressive performance in Norway against Inter, as Harry Kane opened the scoring followed by the strikes from Erik Lamela, Dele Alli, Vincent Janssen and Shayon Harrison. The team is stuffed with confidence and the credit for that goes to their manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine gaffer worked all hearts out last season and made the Lilly-Whites a title contenders from nowhere, and after this stunning performance against Inter, many believe that Spurs can replicate the same form in the upcoming campaign. This is no secret that the upcoming season of the Premier League will be the biggest battle in the history of the competition as some top class managers have stepped onto the stage.

With the competition getting stronger, the expectations from the fans are rising high as well, and after an emphatic show in the last campaign, the fans will be demanding more. Not just the Premier League, the side will also be battling in the Champions League, hence, the players will need to train harder to get the positive results. Yes, there are many obstacles, but many still believe that Tottenham are the team, who can really challenge for the title in the next season as well, so, here we give you three reasons, why Tottenham can win the Premier League next season:

  1. Consistency:

The sole reason behind Tottenham’s wonder performance last season was their  consistency and also the fitness of the players. Due to excellent fitness levels, the players were able to give the same level of performance in almost every single game, and therefore, were able to reach the peak.

The side scored the second highest number of goals in the Premier League last season and conceded the fewest. Spurs were surely not the one man team last season, but worked as a whole and that was the reason, they booked this amazing stat to their book last campaign and even for the upcoming season, the team looks fit and ready.

  1. League’s number 1 defence:

It is no secret that Tottenham Hotspur’s defence was undoubtedly the best one in the Premier League, and with the new season looking on the verge, every player is working their hearts out, and we are sure that the same form will be replicated in the upcoming campaign.

Yes, they had to face some setbacks regarding Jan Vertonghen, but Kevin Wimmer played his part well and on the other hand, Toby Alderweireld gave a one-man show in the back line. Besides that, their full backs, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, always stepped up for their part and was arguably one of the best in the league.

  1. Young Guns Flying:

The current Tottenham squad is filled with some young and enthusiastic players, who are preparing themselves for the bigger stage next season. Players like Dele Alli, Eric Dier and even Harry Kane gave some breathtaking performances last campaign and looking at their form against Inter, it is fair to say that we might see them replicating the same form in the upcoming season.

All the players are hitting their top form, and at this moment, no one can really question their abilities. The players have the support from the squad members like Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela, hence, it is safe to say that goals will be flying high.
