On-loan Arsenal defender Calum Chambers was surprisingly linked with a move to fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur by Daily Mail. The former Southampton man, currently on loan at Middlesbrough, moved to Arsenal back in the summer of 2014 for a reported fee of £16 million.
Chambers has previously worked with Mauricio Pochettino during his Southampton days and has now been linked with Tottenham Hotspur. Chambers has found limited game time at the Emirates and it is looking like the youngster may not really fulfil his potential under Arsene Wenger.
Though the move might be possible as Chambers is not an important player at Arsenal, the fact that Wenger rates him quite highly is a major factor and the Arsenal boss wouldn’t want to part with a young English talent.
Given the history between the two North London giants, the chances are really low.
