Tottenham Hotspur

The PFA Team of the Year was announced earlier and there has been so much debate over the players who have been named and who have not been named.

There seems to be a lot of division in opinion over Sadio mane’s inclusion in the team instead of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez (Hate to mention his name, but credit where it’s due). Sanchez has been better than Mane this season and there has been a lot of opinion regarding that choice.

The team was dominated by Chelsea and Tottenham players, with 4 players from the top 2 teams in the league table making it to the XI.

The team included Manchester United keeper David De Gea, Tottenham’s Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, along with Chelsea’s David Luiz and Gary Cahill at the heart of the defence.

The midfield included Dele Alli, N’Golo Kante, Eden Hazard and Sadio Mane, with the frontline completed by the unstoppable Harry Kane and his fierce competitor Romelu Lukaku.

Though a lot of fans seem to be pleased with the inclusion of the Tottenham stars, there was huge disappointment among the Tottenham supporters over the exclusion of Toby Alderweireld from the team. However, the rival fans felt that Harry Kane did not deserve to be there ahead of the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

We managed to gather few tweets and put it together. Here’s how the fans reacted on Twitter.

This guy though! He deserves a Nobel Prize for sarcasm!

This United fan seems to be burning! It’s only natural.

You sure mate?
