Dele Alli being one of the youngest members in the Tottenham squad, has more than a touch of the kid about him. The England star’s most recent tattoo only seems to confirm that theory, as he showed off a portrait of Bamm-Bamm Rubble from the Flintstones.

The tattoo on his arm might seem childish but it makes more sense than you’d think. The Bedrock toddler actually shares a name with Alli, or at least part of a name, as the footballer’s full first name is Bamidele, a similarity that the player himself, as well as team-mates, have clearly picked up on.

Add to that their similar character traits of being young rogues with a tendency to lash out, and it’s clear to see why Alli chose Bamm-Bamm Rubble.

The PFA young player of the year is currently with the Tottenham squad, on their tour of Hong Kong, where the players have headed to play a friendly against Kitchee SC. Preparation for the clash has included team meals, as shown by Moussa Sissoko on Instagram.

The players have also been taking part in tai chi lessons as they look to chill down after a gruelling season.  Alli and the English Tottenham stars will be happy to treat their Hong Kong stay as a vacation, as there will be little time for them to rest upon their return before international duty with England.

The Three Lions face Scotland on June 10 and France on June 13, with a number of Mauricio Pochettino’s men expected to be involved.

Pochettino has built a team around a core of talented English youngsters, with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker, and Danny Rose all being an important part of it.

Tottenham will surely be determined to set things right next season and go one step further to win the Premier League title. Hopefully, Poch decides to add more quality to the squad as the transfer window edges closer.
