‘Have Fun With Wenger For Another Two Years’ – Tottenham Fans Brutally Troll Arsenal For Winning The FA Cup

Alright! They won the FA Cup and are celebrating like they’ve won the Champions League. Typical signs of a club that is going down in stature. Times were there when they use to aim for the league and compete with Sir Alex’s Manchester United. But now they’re celebrating an FA Cup win and a 5th place finish and pathetically, they seem to be happy with it. Talk about lack of ambition!

Yes, it is a trophy and a prestigious one at the end of the day. But winning it seems to have become the priority for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal. They don’t seem to realise, neither do they seem to accept the fact that we are now better than them in the bigger perspective, which is not just about winning trophies.

We are placed very well for the future and it is only a matter of time before this beautifully talented squad of ours starts winning trophies (something bigger than the FA Cup of course). On the other hand, Arsenal have successfully made the transition from Champions League to Europa League and the way they played this season, it is probably the right place where they belong to.

A lot of fans shared a similar opinion on Arsenal and their fans and a total banter going on in Twitter, with Spurs faithful savagely trolling the Gunners for their so-called ‘achievement’.

We managed to gather some interesting tweets to make a reading, and it was totally hilarious.

  1. OMG – this from the success starved team that has won a solitary league cup in the last 18 years! Enjoy your second place trophy and DVD. Forever in our shadow.

  2. Haha, finish above Arsenal for the first time in 21 years with no trophy and you’d think you’d won the champions league with these reactions. The fact that spurs haven’t won the fa Cup in 26 years probably diminishes your respect of the beautiful trophy and most historic, respected cup competition in the world. No trophy = nothing, no one remembers runners up and arsenal have won the fa cup three out of the last four seasons, which is more than spurs have done in 36 years. The last time spurs won the league was before England last won the world cup. Go and win some trophies first and then make a fuss.

  3. Hilarious.

Wenger has destroyed Spurs since he arrived and they want him to stay?

    Wenger : 16 trophies + 2 European Finals + finished above Spurs 21 years out of 22

    Spurs : 2 tin-pot League Cups….

And Spurs best ever prem season didn’t even see them top for one day or get to a final.
And Arsenal’s worst season bags them the FA Cup for a historic 13th time.

The LAST thing Spurs should want is Wenger staying. He’s RUINED them!
    LMFAO

  4. How many trophies in the last 20 years? Oh yes – TWO very impressive league cups. Typical spuds crowing about success. When you have had some and can match even Wenger’s haul then, and only then will you be able to comment.

  5. As a real Gunner of 67 years+ I have enjoyed the banter between the Spuds and The Arsenal. It always seems like the Spuds are playing catch up but now they have achieved their number one aim in life….finish above The Arsenal and that’s it!? Suddenly the worlds most famous cup is not worth winning? Well Spuds you keep telling yourselves that and we will keep picking up trophies. I’m sure I am correct in thinking that the last time the Spuds won a trophy the TV was in black and white. As for the PL, I am not sure if they have ever won it? Keep finishing second lads and we will be happy to have Lord Wenger around to show you how its done….what was your semi final score ? I’m just glad we had half a team out…. otherwise it could have been embarrassing.

  6. Yeah spuds, troll Arsene Wenger, when did you win the league um! 1961? The great spuds finish 2nd.Check what you have won in the 20 years of AW ?HA HA!!!

  7. How about that u spuds? Arsenal winning at trophy right in your soon to be home ground next season!!

  8. Lol. Seeing this blog on the Arsenal news aggregator made me laugh.

Spuds are FOREVER “on the rise”.

They said the same thing when Van Der Vaart was there…

They repeated it when Gareth Bale sprang up.

And now just because they manage to finish second and above the Arsenal, the FA cup is not important. I like the jokes.

You’ll forever remain in our shadow — we’re your overlords 😀

  9. Hahaha. The spuds celebrated second place like they’d won the Champions league and club world cup combined.

Yet they slate Arsenal — their overlords — for winning an actual trophy.

    I like the jokes.

  10. Lolling at all the butt-hurt Gooner responses

They need to answer some honest questions:

If ArseAnal had finished second and Spurs had finished fifth and won the FA Cup, would you have still celebrated your pathetic St Totteringham’s Day (that you had to reinvent the meaning of a decade ago to pretend you were celebrating the same thing)? Of course you would…and we all know it! That being the case, would you be celebrating because Spurs had a better season, or would you be celebrating because you consider finishing second to be better than finishing fifth even if accompanied by an FA Cup? Again, we all know the answer! For decades you have been saying that challenging at the top of the table was all that really mattered…remember, when you used to fantasise that United was your real derby (well, why not, you could always move to Greater Manchester, you have form on that score ). Now, of a sudden you want to move the goal-posts? Nah, not having it, sorry

The truth is, and this is the truth Spurs were out of commission – thanks to chairman, Mr Scholar, nearly destroying our club in the early nineties. At that time we had as many trophies as you (check the record books) and were the best financed club in England. And the financial implosion just when our rivals got on the BPL/CL/TV money gravy train. And that was why At Totteringham’s Day actually hurt – a former close rivalry reduced to the number of match days remaining, when it was confirmed that you would finish above us – BEFORE the final game of the season. But that all ended a decade ago with Lasagna-gate – since when you have squeezed past on the last day, usually. But still bigged it up like it was the same thing (because, even with your success, you are just a little obsessed, really, ain’t ya)! We told you this day would happen, and you insisted it never would. Note, never would – not “oh when it does and we finish fifth we’ll win the FA Cup and that will nullify it”! You said it would never happen – and now you are butt-hurt as hell and trying to find ways to deny it happened

Oh, and one more thing: why when you go into trophies (hey, you opened a gap while we were out of commission, fair play), do you never mentioned genuine recognised by UEFA major European trophies? Tottenham have won three genuine recognised by UEFA major European trophies. How many genuine recognised by UEFA major European trophies have ArseAnal won on, again? I’ll give you a clue it’s less than two It’s important because some folk consider the real mark of a BIG CLUB to be European trophies. Yeah, you were in the CL for twenty seasons – but what did you do in it? I’ll tell you the truth, folk, not just here but across Europe and the World remember our gallant swash-buckling charge in the competition more than your twenty years of lurking about in the back ground being inconspicuous Best you step back now and let a real team, that will have a real crack at it, have a go

Butt-hurt Goons, trying to pretend they haven’t spent the entire season image state of Civil War Trying to pretend they aren’t butt-hurt about finishing so far behind us and in fifth because, because…

    Yeah, we believe you
