It has finally happened! Tottenham finally signed a player in the summer window after being the only club not to break the bank in the Premier League.
The player in question is Ajax’s central defender Davinson Sanchez and the fee is a bit of a big one at £42 million for the Colombian 21-year-old.

This has been a deal in the making for a number of weeks and finally, we can celebrate someone coming to the club. Sanchez would provide a lot of quality to our defence and even push our centre-back pairing of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen for a place in the first-team.
There certainly will be a big question mark over the price paid for the 21-year-old as we don’t have the best record when it comes to big money signings under Mauricio Pochettino and it also debunks the rumour that we don’t have money to spend in the window.
