Tottenham continue signing spree as club agrees terms with 22-year-old Englishman

Harry Winks

As per a report from Tottenham’s official website, Harry Winks has signed a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur that runs until 2023. Tottenham have now completed deals for the contract extensions of Davinson Sanchez, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Harry Winks, who is the latest to sign the dotted line.

Winks is one of our most promising stars and the youngster had even managed to establish himself as a key member of the first-team in the recently concluded season. One of his most notable performances was against Real Madrid in the Champions League, where he dominated midfielders like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric with ease.

Gradually, he was becoming a regular in the Premier League as well but unfortunately for Winks, he picked up a terrible injury which saw him miss out on the second half of the campaign.

Since then, he has been continuing to work towards full recovery but the lack of game time even cost him a place in the England squad for the upcoming World Cup in Russia.

Nevertheless, Winks’ talent and potential are limitless and he has thrived under Mauricio Pochettino’s guidance. With Champions League football and a solid title challenge to mount next season, it will be crucial for us to have Winks back in the side.

He might just be 22 years of age but his displays on the field have established him as a solid superstar for the future. It is great that Tottenham have offered him a long-term contract.

Youngsters like Winks are almost never free of attention from potential suitors and with his long-term future sorted out, let’s hope the player returns in time to continue his fantastic run next term.

Good luck, Harry Winks!
