Tottenham’s new Nike kits will have one major change around the crest

Tottenham are yet to announce the dates for their new kit release but Football.london claims that the badge on our kit will be changed ahead of the new season.

The report claims that the new kits might be similar in style to the Nike ones we used last season but the badge would feature a change.

Last season, our crest was surrounded by a shield for two reasons. One, this was a throwback to our jersey from the 1960-61 double-winning season under Bill Nicholson.

The second reason was to “protect” the crest since we were playing away from home last season at Wembley.

Now with us returning “home” this season, we should see the shield being replaced as we look to start a new chapter in the history of the club.

The fans are still waiting for the new kits to be released and with a new stadium also coming up, it is certainly going to be an exciting season for the fans and the players.

Hopefully, we will be able to continue our growth under Mauricio Pochettino after finishing in the top-four in each of the last two seasons. We have to pick up trophies now and it would be incredible if we can do that in our new stadium this season.
