England will be taking Croatia on in the World Cup semi-final and it seems the Croatians are confident of doing well against the Three Lions.
Tottenham star Harry Kane is leading the race for the Golden Boot with 6 goals but Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic believes his side can stop Kane after they did a decent job against Lionel Messi.
The coach was quoted by the Metro as saying:
“We don’t fear England. He [Kane] is top scorer – he’s not easy to stop.
“But we have top centre-backs. We managed to stop Messi and [Christian] Eriksen so hopefully we can stop Kane.”
Croatia did defeat a below-par Argentina 3-0 in the group stage and well, as for their top centre-backs, Dejan Lovren was absolutely destroyed by Kane and company last season at Wembley.
That was a fact that a few of the English and Tottenham supporters brought up too as they looked forward to one of the biggest games in England’s recent history.
Kane will undoubtedly be looking to lead his team to the World Cup final and Dalic’s quotes could come back to haunt him in a few days.
Harry Kane is different gravy and if they can handle one Harry, we have two

A friendly jibe: Zlatko Dalic probably doesn’t know that it (Fifa World Cup) is coming home. 🙂

Messi was an awsome lone player for Argentina … Harry Kane is an awesome player with 10 other awesome England players. Massive difference

What’s that you say, modric and Rakatic are going to run the midfield on Wednesday? Maybe Croatia need to worry that Charlie Corluka or Lovren will need to mark Harry Kane…. #ItsComingHome
