“So no new signings?”: Some Tottenham fans wanted only one thing as club announced squad for International Champions Cup

Tottenham have released their squad for the International Champions Cup in the USA and there are a few omissions which have raised eyebrows.

While we are not going to see a lot of the World Cup stars who were involved in the knockout rounds, Davinson Sanchez and Christian Eriksen are back in the team.

We also get to see the likes of Moussa Sissoko and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou looking to make a name for themselves in pre-season, with a number of young players also in the side.

However, two players who are not part of the squad are Harry Winks and Vincent Janssen. While Winks might be nursing an injury, Janssen has been linked with a move away from the club.

The fans, however, were not pleased since we have not made a single addition to the side this summer. There have been talks about a few players coming in but with less than three weeks to go before the start of the Premier League campaign, we are yet to see a new face in the side.

Our rivals are busy strengthening and buying players to go to the next level while we have done nothing in the market and this was a point that the fans highlighted on Twitter.
