Lucas Moura has done pretty well in the International Champions Cup and seems set for a great season with us after moving from PSG last season.

The Brazilian is certainly someone who can turn a game on its head and the winger was speaking to the Daily Mail where he claimed that he was happy at Tottenham while also claiming that we are bigger than his former club.

“Tottenham are a big club.

“They are probably bigger in structure than PSG. I am impressed about this and I was happy to come here.”

While we have not won any trophies under Mauricio Pochettino, Moura was quick to add that the relationship with the manager is great and that we are set for something special this season.

“I believe we can have a big season, win a trophy. That’s why I am here, to win a trophy because I believe in the team, the project. We have the capacity to make history here.”

Lucas might not have done a lot last time around but he was confident that with a full pre-season under his belt, Spurs fans will get to see the best of him.

The 25-year-old also added that he was a little upset at leaving PSG and claimed that Neymar was like a brother to him.

Tottenham will be expecting a lot from Lucas this time around and if he plays to his best capabilities, we might just see a fantastic season from the attacker this time around.
