Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants the club to have the same attitude as Harry Kane. The Englishman was not happy despite winning the Golden Boot at the World Cup and wanted more.

Pochettino congratulated Kane on his performance at the World Cup but the Mirror reports that the Englishman told the manager that he was not happy.

“I’m really disappointed, I should have scored more goals.”

Pochettino was quoted by the Mirror as saying:

“That’s why I love him. For him it is not enough to finish fourth in the World Cup or third in the Premier League.”

The manager also spoke about our targets and claimed that finishing in the top-4 is not enough for him despite that being a good target to achieve.

Pochettino also spoke about our chances of picking up silverware this season.

“Can we win something this season? In football, all can happen. It will be tough because our opponents are at a level where every year they improve… we are competing in the same race but with a different car.”

Tottenham haven’t won a trophy under Pochettino but the team has gotten better with each season under the Argentine. We have one of the best starting XIs in the Premier League and if things go right for us, there could be celebrations at our new home this season.
