Tottenham have made a £36million bid for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to Drazen Antolic of Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti (h/t Bleacher Report).

The report further adds that the Italian giants are looking at £45million for the Croatian midfielder. Brozovic played in the World Cup for the Croatia side as they finished second.

The report claims that the midfielder wants to leave the Serie A side but Daniel Levy does not want to meet the asking price set by Inter.

The 25-year-old scored 4 goals and provided 9 assists from his deeper midfield role. While Tottenham have not made a move in the transfer window, the late signing of Brozovic would not be the worst deal in the market.

The 25-year-old has the potential to get better and his play from midfield would complement our playing style. Mauricio Pochettino also knows how to get the best out of the players and the asking price for the player is not extremely high either.

Daniel Levy would have to work his magic if we are to get a quality deal for the World Cup finalist. Brozovic does have some of the tools to be a hit in the Premier League and with Pochettino working with him, the Croatian could be a star for Spurs.
