Tottenham Hotspur ran out 3-0 winners over Manchester United at Old Trafford, ensuring we keep pace with Liverpool, Watford and Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

A brace from Lucas Moura and a goal from Harry Kane helped us romp home to an easy win but the first half was a tight affair with United slightly shading it.

Kane got the breakthrough via a neat header in the 50th minute before Moura raced in to score his first of the game in the 52nd minute.

The Brazilian then shrugged off Chris Smalling to make the points safe with a smashing finish in the 84th minute as United succumbed to their second defeat in three games.

There were a number of stars on display at Old Trafford and here are the player ratings from the fantastic win over the Red Devils.

Tottenham Hotspur Player Ratings

Hugo Lloris – 7/10

The captain retained the armband following his drunk driving arrest but wasn’t great when kicking the ball. Lloris did make a great save to deny Lukaku in the second half.

Kieran Trippier – 7/10

Luke Shaw gave him a tough time but Trippier did well down the right of a four-man defence for Spurs.

Toby Alderweireld – 8/10

This was a fantastic performance from the Belgian as his tackles were precise and he seemed to be in great shape for the team.

Tottenham

Jan Vertonghen – 8/10

The other Belgian centre-back was just as good as Vertonghen barely made a wrong move and looked comfortable with Alderweireld beside him.

Danny Rose – 6.5/10

Rose seemed off the pace and even gifted Lukaku a back pass to open the scoring but the United man missed the target. The English defender looked better in the second half, before being substituted.

Mousa Dembele – 6.5/10

Dembele didn’t look all that great in the middle of the park and struggled to deal with United’s midfield early on in the game.

Eric Dier – 7/10

Dier, like Dembele, also struggled to battle in the midfield against United in the first half but got better as the match progressed.

Dele Alli – 7/10

This wasn’t Alli’s best game as he missed a golden opportunity to score but he did a lot of running for the team.

Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen – 7/10

Eriksen wasn’t great in the clash as he barely had a telling contribution in the first half. The Dane did pick out Moura for the second goal of the game.

Lucas Moura – 9/10

The Brazilian looks like a new player. With three goals from two games, his partnership with Kane seems to be blossoming and it will be tough to drop Moura.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane – 8/10

Kane scored via a smart header from a Trippier corner and even assisted Moura for the third goal of the game. The Englishman was his usual self as he ran himself to the ground for the team.

Substitutes

Serge Aurier – 6/10

The former PSG man replaced Trippier and did a decent enough job without making errors.

Ben Davies – NA

Davies was brought on to replace Rose but didn’t have much time to make an impact.
