Moussa Sissoko didn’t feature in our loss against Watford as he was ruled out due to a hamstring problem but the Frenchman shared the lengths to which he is trying to get back to fitness.

The former Newcastle man played in our first game of the season but he hasn’t featured in any of the other clashes.

Sissoko played 47 times for us last season but a number of those appearances came off the bench.

The 29-year-old posted an Instagram story where he showcased some suction treatment on the back of his thigh.

The French midfielder will have a couple of weeks to get back to full fitness, thanks to the international break, and he might even impress Mauricio Pochettino before our next clash.

The 29-year-old will have a role to play in the side, given that we did not sign a single player in the summer window.

Even without any new faces, Tottenham have started the season well, barring the roadblock in our 2-1 loss at the hands of Watford.

Most of the Tottenham players were below par at Vicarage Road and our next clash against Liverpool will be crucial to keep pace with the early Premier League leaders.

Sissoko isn’t a first-choice starter for us but with the Champions League and the domestic cup competitions coming up, the Frenchman should expect a few starts before the end of the season.
