Tottenham lead the race for 24-year-old MLS star Miguel Almiron, according to A Lo Grande (h/t Sun).
The Atlanta United star has been in brilliant form this season with 12 goals and 13 assists. The Paraguayan joined the MLS side for a fee of £6million (h/t Sun) from Lanus but could be available for £22m (h/t Sun).
The report adds that West Ham were interested in the 24-year-old in the summer, but a deal could not be completed for the midfielder.
Arsenal are also interested in the 24-year-old and it will be interesting to see if we make a move for the attacking midfielder.
Tottenham were the only club not to sign a player in the summer window and it has been a testing season. Although we have made the best start to a Premier League season this time, our Champions League hopes are in tatters.
Spurs have one point from three games in the group and need a bit of a miracle to make it into the next round.
The club have been hit by a number of injuries since the start of the campaign, and we cannot rule out a dip in the transfer window in January.
Almiron might find it difficult to adjust to the Premier League if he makes a move to England. However, Mauricio Pochettino is the one manager who can get the best out of a player.
