Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals set up a London derby in the semi-finals. We face Chelsea in a two-legged affair, and the first leg of the tie will be held at Wembley on the week starting from 7th January.

The Blues were defeated easily by Spurs 3-1 early in the season but we won’t be having full capacity at Wembley for this clash.

The Sun reports that only 39,000 tickets will be available when the two sides meet in 2019. The report adds that the upper tier, level 5, will be closed as Wembley can host only a certain number of maximum capacity events in a year.

The report adds that the Tottenham officials did not expect the club to go this far into the competition. Our new stadium isn’t ready yet and Wembley will continue to host our home games.

The return leg, which takes place a fortnight after the first leg, sees us travel to Stamford Bridge and we have been allocated 4,000 tickets for the tie (h/t Sun).

We play Chelsea at the end of February in the Premier League and it will be interesting to see how Maurizio Sarri tries to get the better of us.

The Italian was humbled by Mauricio Pochettino in the first meeting between the pair this season and hopefully, we grab three more wins over the Blues to celebrate.
