Tottenham fave some issues on who will lead the line against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg, however, the Blues will be without Gonzalo Higuain, according to Sky Italia (h/t Calciomercato).

The Argentine is expected to complete a loan move from AC Milan pretty soon, but the report claims that the 31-year-old will not be registered in time to face Tottenham.

Chelsea’s forwards have struggled for goals this season, and Higuain could be the answer given his experience of playing under Maurizio Sarri.

The 31-year-old was on loan from Juventus to Milan, and the deal has been cut short to send him to the Blues.

This should give Spurs a bit of a boost given we are without Harry Kane and Dele Alli. The pair will be out will March, and it will be interesting to see if we stick with Fernando Llorente as our striker.

The Spaniard scored an own goal and generally struggled in the win over Fulham. We could see Kazaiah Sterling get some minutes while Lucas Moura is fighting to be fit for the game.

Tottenham hold a slender 1-0 lead after the first leg and that could be enough to see us through. Chelsea have struggled to score tons of goals under Sarri and their most recent game was a 2-0 loss to Arsenal. The Blues have scored just three goals in their last four Premier League games.

It won’t be easy getting one over Chelsea at their own patch, but we should have the confidence of getting the job done, even without some of our top stars.
