Spurs transfer news: Tottenham closing in on deal for Eljif Elmas
Turkish outlet Superhaber (h/t Football.london) reports that Tottenham are closing in on Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas.
The report claims that the deal could be worth €20m and that Spurs are getting a quality player given that the Turkish team need to balance their books.
Elmas has made 30 appearances for Fenerbahce this season with one goal to his name. The 19-year-old is also a Macedonia international and has played for his country five times this campaign.
The report adds that Mauricio Pochettino is looking to add more strength in depth to the Tottenham side in the summer.

Spurs are a little light when it comes to the midfield having sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window.
Mauricio Pochettino has done a wonderful job without dipping into the transfer market for more than a year, and that needs to change in the summer.
Elmas could be a smart signing for Spurs given his age and potential, and it will be interesting to see if we can complete the deal soon.
