Latest Spurs news: Tottenham stars celebrate epic win over Ajax on social media

It was a night that no Tottenham fan will ever forget as Mauricio Pochettino’s men reached the Champions League final in dramatic fashion.

Spurs were trailing 2-0 on the night and 3-0 on aggregate at half-time but Lucas Moura changed the complexion of the game with two quick goals in the second-half.

Ajax tried to hold on for the remainder of the game, but Moura found the back of the net with the last kick of the game.

Pandemonium ensued on the pitch as Spurs dumped Ajax out and Dele Alli had the right caption after the game.

The Englishman was one of the stars of the show, but we were without the best striker in the world, Harry Kane.

The forward ran onto the pitch after the final whistle and he thanked his mates for the result.

Harry Winks was also out injured and the midfielder hailed the fighting spirit of the team.

More Moura praise

Fernando Llorente was our hero against Manchester City earlier in the campaign and the Spaniard thanked Moura for his hat-trick at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Moura had a few words to say about the incredible effort while our old Ajax boys could not believe what had taken place.

Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez were all bought from the Dutch side while Toby Alderweireld also spent time there.

Sanchez was injured for the clash but he travelled with the side and celebrated with them.

The team can look forward to another tough clash against Liverpool in the final of the competition.

The Reds might have gotten the better of us in the league this season, but our performances in the Champions League prove we can beat any team if we are up for the challenge.
