Latest Spurs news: First pictures of Tanguy Ndombele as Tottenham’s latest signing
Tottenham made it a terrific Tuesday after signing two players in a matter of hours.
Leeds United’s Jack Clarke joined in the morning, but the bigger news was regarding Tanguy Ndombele arriving on a club-record deal (h/t BBC).
The 22-year-old Frenchman joined from Lyon, and he was one of the top players in the Ligue 1 last season.
The midfielder was happy with the move to Tottenham and should be ready to play in the first-team once the season starts.
The Frenchman should provide more steel to our midfield, which looked a little light in the second half of the previous season.
Work still to be done by Spurs
Ndombele is an excellent signing for the present and future, but we still need a few fresh faces to join.
Clarke has returned to Leeds on loan, and signing just one player is not enough.
Tottenham
Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier did not have a great season last time around, and signing a quality right-back would be great.

However, getting the 22-year-old Lyon star was a step in the right direction to make the team stronger. There is a lot of work to be done and hopefully, we make a few more signings soon.
