Spurs transfer news: Dani Olmo opens up about rumours of a move away from Dinamo Zagreb
Spain’s U21 Euro winning star Dani Olmo has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United (h/t Mirror).
The Dinamo Zagreb star was incredible in the U21 Euro final against Germany, and the report claims that several top European clubs are interested in the striker.
The Mirror claims that Zagreb could decide to let Olmo leave and make some money, with several clubs keeping tabs on the former Barcelona youngster.
However, the 21-year-old wasn’t getting involved in the transfer talks and in an interview with T-Portal claimed he would only move to a club where he is guaranteed playing time (h/t Mirror):
“Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it. It’s for my manager Andy Bara and my dad. However, I’m not burdened by this.
“It’s very simple – I want a club where I will play. I am still young and for me, it is most important that I have minutes.”
The 21-year-old joined Zagreb from Barcelona in 2014 and has become one of their best players.
The youngster has won several titles with the Croatian giants, and the report claims that some clubs were willing to spend £22m on the 21-year-old.
Tottenham could use a versatile forward
Olmo plays mostly as a winger but can do the job of a striker too.
Tottenham had some problems last season with Harry Kane’s injury and we had to play Son Heung-min or Lucas Moura as the striker in several games.
Fernando Llorente also did a decent job in place of Kane but the Spaniard is out of a contract in the summer.

Olmo could be a smart signing but he would be second-choice to Kane, and Mauricio Pochettino would not be able to guarantee regular starts to the Spaniard.
