Latest Spurs news: Harry Kane scores a cracker in 3-2 pre-season win over Juventus

Pre-season games don’t always count for much as players try to get into shape and prepare for a tough campaign ahead.

This part of the campaign is also to bring players back into rhythm after their summer breaks, and Tottenham were in action against Juventus in Singapore.

The match saw Tanguy Ndombele get some minutes on the pitch while several youngsters also got a chance to showcase their abilities to Mauricio Pochettino.

The International Champions Cup clash against the Serie A champions was an exciting affair with both sides having several chances to score.

Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura scored the goals for us while Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo got the two for Juventus as the game was tied 2-2.

It seemed the match would end in a draw, before Harry Kane came up with some magic.

The England captain had a difficult campaign last time due to two ankle injuries.

Kane does need to be fit for most of the season if we are to win some silverware, and this goal from the half-way line should give him more confidence.

The Englishman is possibly the best striker in the world and this was just another example of what he can do when he is in great shape.

The forward certainly enjoyed the winner against Juve, and so did several fans from across the world.
