Spurs transfer news: Levy makes final offer for Lo Celso

Diario de Sevilla (h/t Football.london) reports that Daniel Levy has made one final offer for Giovani Lo Celso.

The report claims that the Tottenham chairman has made it clear that this is the last bid from Spurs, which is worth €52m and €8m in add-ons.

The Argentine international joined Real Betis from Paris Saint-Germain on loan but made his move permanent in the summer.

The report adds that Betis have to pay 23% of Lo Celso’s fee to PSG, and are hoping that a last-minute deal from Spurs can see the transfer take place.

Lo Celso has been linked with Spurs throughout the summer and hopefully, a deal can be done with just a couple of days left in the transfer window.

Tottenham need an attacker to join the team

Tottenham signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United but the winger was sent back on loan to the Championship side.

Lo Celso would be a good signing under Mauricio Pochettino and we don’t have a lot of time to finalise this deal.

Tottenham can sell players to foreign clubs after Thursday but all incomings have to take place before that.

Hopefully, we are not left to rue a lack of business once again as Tanguy Ndombele alone cannot make a difference for us.

The French midfielder is an excellent signing but we need more first-teamers to join if we are to land silverware this season.
