Italian giants pushing to sign 26-year-old Tottenham star – Spurs want €25m

Spurs transfer news: Tottenham want €25m for Aurier as Milan push for deal

The European transfer window is open for just a few more days and all deals have to be wrapped up soon.

Tottenham are still looking to sell some players and Football Italia (h/t Mirror) claims that AC Milan are pushing to sign Serge Aurier.

The Ivorian hasn’t played for Tottenham this season and has seen Kyle Walker-Peters take over from Kieran Trippier as our right-back.

The former Paris Saint-Germain defender hasn’t been able to cement his place in the Tottenham side and has had his injury problems too.

Spurs looking at a decent sum for Aurier

The report adds that Tottenham are looking to get €25m for the 26-year-old defender, and it will be interesting to see if the deal can be concluded soon.

Tottenham face some issues with the right-back spot at the moment as Walker-Peters picked up an injury against Newcastle.

Juan Foyth is also out till September after injuring his ankle in pre-season, and we could end up playing Moussa Sissoko in that position unless Aurier remains at the club.

Losing Aurier now would lead to some problems as there isn’t a lot of cover for Walker-Peters. We have already sold Kieran Trippier and can only sign free agents until the winter window.
