Mauricio Pochettino will cost £32million to leave Tottenham position

Neil Ashton of the Sun claims that it will cost £32m to pry Mauricio Pochettino away from Tottenham.

The Argentine led us to the Champions League final last season but things haven’t been great this season.

Tottenham were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Colchester United, and have seen frailties at the back.

We gave away a 2-0 lead against Arsenal and repeated that at Olympiakos too. Newcastle beat us at home while we lost on penalties to Colchester.

The journalist claims that Manchester United will try to court Poch after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s struggle. United were linked with Pochettino when Louis van Gaal was sacked, and also after Jose Mourinho left the side (h/t Sun).

Not easy for United to land our manager

Pochettino believes he can turn things around at the club while United will find it difficult to land the Argentine (h/t Sun).

The report claims that the Premier League clubs don’t have a great relationship, thanks to the transfer dealings between them.

Dimitar Berbatov, Teddy Sheringham and Michael Carrick all moved from Spurs to United, and Daniel Levy had turned down an approach from Real Madrid for Pochettino too (h/t Sun).

United have been poor this season under Solskjaer and the report claims that he isn’t the man to turn things around at Old Trafford.

Poch is one of the best in the world and can solve our problems. The Argentine needs time to get things in order and hopefully, we start a winning run after beating Southampton at the weekend.
