Tottenham interested in January move for James Rodriguez
Tottenham are one of three Premier League clubs interested in Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, according to El Desmarque (h/t BBC).
The Colombian scored six goals in the 2014 World Cup, winning the Golden Boot, and earned a big move to Real Madrid from Monaco.
However, he has been unable to cement a place in Madrid and was sent on a two-year loan spell to Bayern Munich.
Rodriguez returned to Real in the summer and has scored just one goal in the Champions League and La Liga. The 28-year-old also has just one assist to his name in the campaign. Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen on the Colombian, according to the report.
Rodriguez is a regular for the Colombian national side and played in their Copa America campaign during the summer.
The 28-year-old can play in several positions in the final third but most of his appearances this season have come in the midfield.
Tottenham to make moves in January?
Spurs were one of the big movers in the summer as we signed four players. However, injuries have kept Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso out for most of the season.
The pair returned to action recently and Lo Celso even started in the win over Red Star Belgrade in the midweek.
