“He is ready for the best clubs” – Tottenham alerted as coach claims this Spanish star is ready to move
Tottenham alerted as coach claims Dani Olmo could be leaving Dinamo Zagreb
Tottenham have been alerted as Dani Olmo’s time in Dinamo Zagreb could be coming to an end.
Football.london reports that Olmo was linked with Tottenham in the summer. The Spanish attacker also attracted the attention of Liverpool and Manchester United (h/t Football.london), however, he remained with the Croatian side.
Olmo was one of the stars for Spain’s U21 side as they went on to lift the Euros, and has done well with Zagreb this season too.

The youngster has six goals from 15 appearances and has also played in the Champions League.
Zagreb’s head coach, Nenad Bjelica, spoke to 24sata and claimed the 21-year-old Olmo is set to leave the club (h/t Football.london):
“I think we are just watching his last matches at Dinamo. There are so many offers. In the end, the club and the player will decide together what is best for both sides. He is ready to play for the best clubs in Europe.”
The coach added that Olmo is an ambitious player and wants to learn every day too.
Tottenham to move for another midfielder?
Olmo can play in several positions and has been tried out wide too. His best position seems to be behind the striker and it will be interesting to see if we move for him.
Spurs already have Giovani Lo Celso and Christian Eriksen who can play in that position.

However, Eriksen has struggled for goals in this campaign while Lo Celso has had his injury problems too.
Eriksen is also a free agent at the end of the season while Lo Celso joined in the summer from Real Betis.

Dutch international midfielder to snub Tottenham in favour of La Liga giants
Donny van de Beek to snub Tottenham in favour of Real Madrid
Netherlands international Donny van de Beek prefers a move to Real Madrid over Tottenham, according to De Telegraaf (h/t Express).
The 22-year-old has been in great form since the last season and helped them reach the Champions League semis.
Van de Beek has been in good touch this season too. The midfielder has 11 goals and five assists in all competitions for Ajax.

Spurs could have done with a quality midfielder joining, especially with Christian Eriksen on the final year of his contract.
However, Van de Beek’s representatives have hinted that the Dutchman wants a move to Real over Spurs (h/t Express).
Real made an offer of €50million in the previous window but the midfielder remained at the Dutch giants (h/t Express).
The La Liga giants are set to offer €55m in hopes of landing him (h/t Express). Ajax have seen several talents leave after the previous campaign, and it will be interesting to see what happens with Van de Beek.

Tottenham’s summer plans will be important
Jose Mourinho has a tough job on hand to revitalise Tottenham in the summer window.
There are some players leaving on a free while a few have been average for a while. The new manager suffered his first defeat since taking over recently.

Premier League rivals could move for this Tottenham midfielder in January
Manchester United could move for Christian Eriksen in January window
Manchester United could move for Tottenham star Christian Eriksen in the January window, according to the Mirror (h/t Daily Star).
The Dane is a free agent in the summer and can speak with foreign clubs in the winter window.
The report claims that United moved for the Dane at the start of this season but he wasn’t keen on joining them.

Atletico Madrid and Juventus are keen on landing him on a free (h/t Daily Star) and it will be interesting to see what happens with him in the coming weeks.
United would have to part with a fee to sign him in January, however, they could save up and land him for nothing in the summer.
The Dane hasn’t featured much under Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese took over. Dele Alli has done a great job in the midfield and was on target again with a sumptuous goal against Manchester United.
It still came in a losing cause, and this was the Portuguese manager’s first loss since taking over at Spurs.

Spurs should sell Eriksen in January
The Dane doesn’t seem to be part of our plans at the moment, and it would be better to sell him in January than keep him till the end of the season.
We could make some money off the 27-year-old but selling him to a Premier League rival should be off the cards.

Mourinho only convinced by one defender since taking over at Tottenham
Jose Mourinho only convinced by Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham’s defenders
Jose Mourinho suffered his first defeat as Tottenham manager at the hands of Manchester United.
Losing any game is tough for the boss to take, but getting beat by a former club is even tougher to take.
Our defence was at fault again as we conceded two poor goals, one being a penalty, and there have been some questions on our back four.

We have conceded a couple of goals in every game under Mourinho, and the Independent claims that he is only keen on Toby Alderweireld remaining at the club from the defence (h/t Sun).
The Belgian is a free agent in the summer and he hasn’t agreed on a new deal yet. Jan Vertonghen is another who is a free agent in the summer.
The report goes on to say that Mourinho isn’t convinced with Davinson Sanchez too.
The former Manchester United boss even targeted the ex-Ajax centre-back in the Europa League final in 2017 (h/t Sun).
Big decisions coming up from Mourinho
Mourinho has some big decisions to make in the summer window with several players out of contracts.

Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen are free agents, and it will be interesting to see what his plans are for the defence.
Serge Aurier, Danny Rose and Sanchez have all struggled this season. However, making wholesale changes to the back four won’t be cheap.

“I don’t need to answer” – Mourinho remains tight-lipped about La Liga star joining Tottenham
Jose Mourinho remains coy on Gareth Bale transfer possibility
Jose Mourinho didn’t say much when asked about signing Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
Mourinho was speaking to the press after the 2-1 loss to his former club Manchester United. Dele Alli scored a fantastic goal but Marcus Rashford’s brace got the home side the win.
Tottenham weren’t poor in that game, but that cutting edge in the final third was missing.

Mourinho was told about Bale’s comments from earlier where he expected Tottenham to win trophies under the new manager.
The manager thanked Bale for those words and replied to a question about the Welshman joining Spurs (h/t Football.london):
“Come on, I don’t need to answer.”
Bale has had his problems at Real Madrid with the fans and the manager. Zinedine Zidane hasn’t seen eye to eye with the Welsh winger while the fans have also booed him in the past.
The 30-year-old could be a smart addition to the team, but his age and durability is a problem.
It will be interesting to see who we can sign in the winter window. Spurs have been low-key spenders in the past but that could change with Mourinho at the helm.

Defence a big issue for Spurs
There are pressing concerns for the manager though. We have leaked goals this season and have conceded twice in every game under the new boss.
Mourinho is known for making the defence almost impenetrable, and that is something he needs to work on.
