Transfer News: Tottenham leading the chase for 14-year-old Newcastle prospect
Tottenham interested in 14-year-old Newcastle starlet Bobby Clark
The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham are interested in Newcastle youngster Bobby Clark. Steve Bruce, the Newcastle manager, rates Bobby as one of the club’s best prospects (h/t Daily Mail).
The 14-year-old is the son of Newcastle legend Lee Clark and has already played for the Magpies’ U18 side.

The report adds that Clark will be in action for England’s U15s next month. The Three Lions are set to face Ireland and Turkey in December.
Loads of interest in the youngster
The midfield has caught the attention of several other Premier League clubs too. Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all keen on the 14-year-old (h/t Daily Mail).
Bayern Munich have also kept an eye on the youngster, however, Clark prefers to stay with the Magpies (h/t Daily Mail).

The report adds that Tottenham are the favourites to land the teenager should his family decide that the player’s development should continue at another club.
It will be an interesting time for Tottenham too with the arrival of Jose Mourinho. Mauricio Pochettino had a history of giving young players a chance.
The Argentine saw the development and progression of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Harry Winks to name a few.

Tottenham dealt blow in chase for 33-year-old Premier League winner
AS Roma reject move from Tottenham for Edin Dzeko
Tottenham’s move to sign Edin Dzeko has been rejected by AS Roma, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Calciomercato).
The two-time Premier League winner left Manchester City for Roma close to three years ago. Dzeko has been one of the top performers for the Serie A giants and has eight goals and two assists for them this season.
The 33-year-old was decent during his time at Manchester, and the report claims that Tottenham see him as the perfect back-up for Harry Kane.

The Englishman has been in great touch under Jose Mourinho, but we don’t have senior cover for the striker.
Troy Parrott could get some minutes if Kane needs a break while Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura cal also lead the line.
Roma have no intention of selling Dzeko
The Bosnian has scored 95 goals for Roma and they have said that the striker is not for sale (h/t Calciomercato).
Tottenham could do with another striker coming in with us allowing two senior forwards to leave in the previous summer.

Mourinho could do with more players coming in the January window, and it will be interesting to see what his plans are.
Spurs have been better under him than Mauricio Pochettino, however, we are far from the final product.

Mourinho hopeful of keeping rising Tottenham star despite interest from other clubs
Jose Mourinho hopeful of keeping Tory Parrott at Tottenham
Troy Parrott is one of the brightest talents at Tottenham. The 17-year-old Irish striker made his Premier League debut in the 5-0 win over Burnley and had featured in the Carabao Cup defeat at Colchester too.
The forward has already played for the Irish senior side, and there are great things expected from him.

However, the youngster has only 18 months left on his contract and has attracted the interest from several European clubs (h/t Sun).
Jose Mourinho is keen to keep hold of the 17-year-old and is hopeful of convincing him to stay at Tottenham, according to the Evening Standard (h/t Sun).
Mourinho has some tough decisions to take as Spurs boss. Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld are all free agents in the summer.
Spurs need to keep hold of Parrott
The youngster is a great talent and it will interesting to see how many games he plays this season.
The report claims that Parrott could feature against Bayern Munich in the Champions League tomorrow.
Spurs can’t mix the team up much later in the season as we are out of the Carabao Cup. However, Parrott could play in the FA Cup too.

Tottenham keeping tabs on 9-goal striker to provide cover for Harry Kane
Tottenham keeping tabs on Galatasaray striker Vedat Muriqi
Tottenham are one of several clubs interested in 25-year-old forward Vedat Muriqi, according to Sporx (h/t Sun).
The lanky forward scored against England for Kosovo in a Euro 2020 qualifier and has been prolific for Galatasaray too.
Muriqi has scored nine goals and provided two assists from 13 Turkish league games this season.

The centre-forward has six goals and two assists for Kosovo over the past season and is great in the air.
The report claims that we are interested in signing a back-up for Harry Kane but there are others keen on the 25-year-old.
Leicester City are interested in the Kosovo striker but so are Lazio, Frankfurt and Monaco (h/t Sun).
Spurs could do with cover for Kane given that we allowed Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen to leave in the previous summer window.
We didn’t sign any replacements and that could be a problem if Kane picks up an injury.
The Englishman was in great touch in the 5-0 win over Burnley and scored a brace too.

Tottenham returning to winning ways
Spurs bounced back from their defeat to Manchester United with an easy win over the Clarets.
Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko all scored with Kane too. We need to keep picking up the wins as Chelsea lie six points ahead of us in fourth place.

Premier League rivals demand £50million for Tottenham-linked star
Norwich want £50m for Tottenham-linked Ben Godfrey
Ben Godfrey is one of the young stars doing their best for Norwich City this season.
Daniel Farke’s team lie in the relegation zone but have put in some quality performances. The 21-year-old centre-back has featured in all of the Canaries’ games this season and has been linked with Tottenham (h/t Daily Star).

However, the English defender will not come on the cheap with the Canaries’ valuing him at £50m, according to The Athletic (h/t Daily Star).
Arsenal are also keen on the rising star but Tottenham have another Norwich defender on their minds too (h/t Daily Star).
Max Aarons, one of Norwich’s full-backs, is also being linked with Jose Mourinho’s team (h/t Daily Star).
There is interest from foreign clubs too with Borussia Dortmund and Lyon keen on Godfrey, according to the report.
Norwich are open to selling him but they are only willing to let him leave for £50m (h/t Daily Star).
Tottenham’s defensive issues
We could do with another centre-back coming in as two of our stars are free agents in the summer.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are in the final year of their deals, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the pair.
Godfrey has looked decent for Norwich, but stepping up for a bigger club will be a real challenge for the youngster.
