No Soldado? How Tottenham Should Line Up Against Chelsea

In the big London derby today we see Spurs travel to Chelsea which looks to be the tie of the day, but Tottenham have it all to do. So how should Tim Sherwood line his men up at Stamford Bridge?

In goal I would go with Hugo Lloris, naturally, and on the right Kyle Walker has to get the nod. Younes Kaboul is said to be pushing for a place in the side after a long term injury, and if he is available I would stick him in the middle of the back four. Michael Dawson would be the obvious man to partner him in the middle, with Jan Vertonghen taking up the left position.

The three man midfield, which Sherwood likes to play, would be Sandro, Paulinho and Nabil Bentaleb for me. They give a nice balance to the midriff and also provide a lot of power which will be crucial to overrun the Chelsea side.

Emmanuel Adebayor is on fire this season, or at least from when Sherwood took over, and he has to lead the line. I would probably have Aaron Lennon on the left to provide some pace for the break but deploy Dembele on the right to add some composure and technique.

Spurs fans, how would you line your men up?
