Palacios Napoli bound

Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios will find out on the next 48 hours whether he can secure a move to Champions League new boys Napoli.

The Honduran, a £12m signing in 2009, has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane following the emergence of Brazilian Sandro.

A catalogue of knee injuries has wrecked havoc on his Spurs chances in recent months and Palacios in determined to get his career back on track.

“The next few days will be key for my future. There are advanced negotiations but I will await news from London.” the Honduran said.

However, the move may be delayed for longer than anticipated with Napoli willing to pay £7m for his services while Spurs wait for a fee closer to £12m.
