Tottenham Hotspur to get first taste of an Adebayor/Holtby partnership?

Hearing that Jermain Defoe will be ruled out for three weeks would be enough to make any Tottenham Hotspur fan despair. We Tottenham Hotspur fans were rightfully excited about the signing of Lewis Holtby and when he appeared from the bench during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City, interest in his performance understandably rose.

Daniel Levy bottled it. Again.

The transfer window closed shut yet again with not a bang, but a whimper. Tottenham Hotspur may’ve brought in the likes of Ezekiel Fryers, Lewis Holtby and, well, Lewis Holtby earlier than the summer. With the club in need of a striker, James Swan believes that chairman Daniel Levy has again bottled it when Spurs needed a new arrival now more than ever.
