Tottenham might be extremely pleased with how the season has progressed; they currently sit second in the table and have the best goal difference in the league. Spurs also have one of the most exciting and young squads in the Premier League and that can be attributed to the vision and working of Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine has turned Tottenham around with his management and certainly it is paying dividends for many youngsters. Tottenham could actually win the league and the form of their youngsters such as Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Eric Dier and a handful of others would be one reason for their rise to the top.
Another player who could be looking at a major role in the team probably next season is Alex Pritchard. The 22-year-old was sent out on loan to West Bromwich Albion in the January window and that could actually work out in favour of Alex, Tottenham and West Brom.
The youngster plays as an attacking midfielder and that is something the 14th placed side could use this season. West Brom have a negative goal difference and a bit of ingenuity in the attacking third could work wonders for Tony Pulis’ side.
Alex Pritchard is someone who wants to get the ball and create something out of it and that is why he could work brilliantly for Tony. The English manager though would have to be sure of what he wants from his side.
West Brom aren’t known for their rather expansive style of play and that is something that Pritchard would bring to the side. The likes of Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino would greatly benefit with Pritchard playing behind them.
Pritchard was named as the Player of the Year in the 2014-15 season for Brentford while he was on loan at the club. He was part of the of the team of the year in the same season as well and if he continues performing at this level for West Bromwich Albion, he could have a big role to play for Tottenham next season.
Mauricio Pochettino has immense faith in his youth setup and Pritchard certainly is someone who has come out of it with flying colors. The text now is for him to play regularly in the Premier League and see what his ability can do for a mid-table team. We have seen how Dele Alli can change the fortunes of the club and with Pritchard going out on loan; he could well be the next young gun to send Spurs to the top of the table.
