Harry Kane

Turning the clock back to September, Harry Kane wasn’t a happy man. And it’s nothing to do about performance on the pitch or pay hike, the England forward was hugely disappointed when his FIFA 17 stats were revealed.

However now, Kane’s splendid run of form has been rewarded with a rating rise – from 84, the EA Sports bosses have made it 85. The 23-year-old has scored 14 goals and laid on 3 assists so far this term, despite missing 5 league matches earlier due to injury.

He is among the Premier League stars who will see their stats notched up in the coming week when new updates for the highly-revered game are released.

In total, 23 stars from around England have been given a worthy increase to ensure that their on-field form is on par with the game. Chelsea’s talisman Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal are edging closer to the 90 mark, with 89 and 88 ratings respectively. While Sadio Mane, who has been a crucial cog in Liverpool’s attacking wheel has been bumped up to 82.

Tottenham Hotspur’s well-oiled team have several other consistent performers who have been honoured with rating increase. Christian Eriksen is rated equal to Kane with 85, while young starlet Dele Alli lies at 82 and Danny Rose only trails him by a single point. Eriksen and Alli have helped to load the bullets for Kane this season, with a joint total of 10 assists, and finding the back of the net 5 and 11 times respectively. While Rose is currently racing against time to recover from a knee injury.

A SPORTS FIFA 17 Reveal Ratings Refresh

Besides Hazard, table-toppers Chelsea too have a number of other stars relishing rating hikes – N’Golo Kante (83), Diego Costa (83) and Marcos Alonso (79).

On a side note, it’s not only the England’s top flight that are getting a revamp, as the Spanish, Italian, German, French and Rest of the World leagues will be reviewed thoroughly over the next ten days.

Kane has been nothing short of a revelation for the north London club. Having signed a contract extension not long ago and continually striking fear into opponent’s defence, one could presumptuously predict that he could be touching the rating heights of Sanchez and Hazard sooner with Tottenham.

Are you happy with Kane’s new FIFA rating?
