Micky Hazard has reminded Tottenham and Chelsea fans of the “massive” opportunity their teams have to reach the FA Cup final this weekend and deal a severe blow to the rival’s title aspirations, as a defeat could really hamper the morale in the dressing room. The London outfits will meet at Wembley for a crucial semi-final showdown on a Super Saturday evening, which could also determine who wins the Premier League title.

Momentum plays a vital role in title run-ins and it is very clear that the momentum lies with Spurs as they are on a scintillating seven-match win streak, whereas their opponents have stumbled to 2 defeats in 4 matches to let Spurs cut the deficit to just 4 points, with 6 games left to play in the Premier League.

The two London rivals will now meet in the capital at the weekend and former Tottenham man Hazard had this simple message ahead of the mouth-watering tie.

“Massive game,” Hazard wrote on his personal Twitter account. “[The] chance to be in an FA Cup final. Wow.”

Both teams have met each other on two occasions this term with the duo picking up one win each in front of their own supporters. The most recent match between the title-chasing duo came in January when Pochettino’s side outclassed their opponents by beating them 2-0. Attacking midfielder Dele Alli, who has scored 19 goals in all competitions during this campaign, netted a brace to end Chelsea’s unstoppable run. The highly-rated England international will be looking to inflict further pain to Chelsea as he has the opportunity of reaching 20 goals for the campaign.

Chelsea has injury worries ahead of Saturday’s match-up with Thibaut Courtois carrying an ankle injury and Costa, Alonso and Moses recovering from a stomach bug. Eden Hazard has been sensational for the Blues this season, scoring and setting up goals like in his 2014-15 season where he won the PFA Player of the Year Award. After a disappointing performance against Manchester United, he will be looking to return to his marauding self by repeating his previous goal-scoring exploits against Tottenham. It is a contest that can have immense implications in the Premier League Title race.

Will it be Chelsea or Spurs?
