Tottenham fans have reacted furiously to claims that Harry Kane broke Jack Wilshere’s leg during Spurs’ premier league game against Bournemouth last weekend. On-loan Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere injured himself while going for the ball. Harry Kane attempted to take a shot and the pair clashed, resulting in Wilshere’s injury.
Reports emerged that Wilshere had fractured his leg. While a lot of media outlets and Arsenal fans claimed that Wilshere broke his leg because of Harry Kane’s challenge, Tottenham fans have reacted angrily to those claims.
Jack Wilshere is known for his injury-ridden career and has spent so many months of his career on the sidelines. Though he was primed to become the next big thing in football, his injuries have let him down and he has never really managed to find a consistent run of games on the pitch. It looked better this season, but somehow, it looks like the injury had to happen and here he is now, nursing a leg fracture.
Wilshere has never been shy of criticisms and has drawn the wrath of the Spurs faithful over the years. He wasn’t treated all too well when Tottenham faced Bournemouth and was given some hot treatment by the Spurs fans when he was on the pitch. He was withdrawn after his injury and was not given a calm sendoff by the fans either.
We managed to gather few tweets from the Tottenham supporters defending Harry Kane and bashing Wilshere for the incident.

@DExpress_Sport Dreadful misrepresentation of what actually happened, Kane was shooting at goal &, as he was all game, Wilshere was off pace & late for ball

Jack Wilshere breaking his leg by going in late on Harry Kane, therefore ending his Arsenal career. Poetic justice in its purest form.

@DExpress_Sport Shut up. Kane didn’t break his leg. Wilshere kicked him and his weak body broke.

@DExpress_Sport You mean to say ‘Jack Wilshere attempts to tackle Harry Kane mid-shot, with the resultant contact causing a karmic leg break.’
— Frampy (@ThatTimFramp) April 19, 2017
@DExpress_Sport Cracking journalism there. Looks a bit like Kane is kicking the ball and Wilshere is also trying to!
— Sam Marks (@Quilo) April 19, 2017
@DExpress_Sport Poor poor journalism. Kane was taking a shot, Wilshere making a tackle. Grow up and write some truthful stories for once #TabloidJunk

Fuck Jack Wilshere why should anyone give him remorse? He literally tried to snap Kane’s ankle and he got injured doing it.

@JamesMawFFT Poor journalism. Considering Wilshere tackled Kane while he was shooting.

@Phon1k I actually saw it as Wilshere making a challenge which could have caused a bit of damage on Kane if he’d made contact!!
