Tottenham fans must be on cloud nine after the victory over Arsenal (a rather pathetic Arsenal) on Sunday, that keeps Spurs just within the reach of Chelsea. The win was important from all aspects and that is exactly what the boys delivered this weekend.
However, apart from Tottenham’s impressive victory, a certain Joshua King seems to have caught the attention of Spurs fans too. King has been terrific for Bournemouth and has scored 15 goals in 34 appearances for the Cherries and also has 2 assists to his name. This has not gone unnoticed by the Spurs faithful and they expressed their wish to sign Joshua King as a backup striker for the phenomenal Harry Kane.
Kane scored from the spot in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over the Gunners and has been scoring for fun this season, despite being injured for a considerable amount of time.
Kane has truly established himself as England’s best striker and there are no doubts about it.
Tottenham have wanted a backup striker for Harry Kane, which they got in Vincent Janssen. But the Dutchman has disappointed with his performances. This has prompted the Tottenham fans to express their desire to sign the impressive Joshua King. They took the Twitter to voice themselves out.
Jermain Defoe won’t be coming to Spurs. I don’t want him at Spurs. I’d take Josh King tho. Looks a proper player.

Never mind Andre Grey, Spurs should be looking at Josh King for next season #coys

@Daily_Hotspur @MailSport Whyyy though?! Josh King the much better player, versatile and can play multiple positions. Should go for him over Andre Gray

@TTTactics Josh King would actually be a superb signing for Spurs. Rather him as backup for Kane instead of Janssen

If Spurs don’t get Josh king in the summer I’ll be very sad. The guy is really good. I’ve said this from day still

Josh King . . . I would 100000% take him as a backup striker to Harry Kane! #THFC

Was surprised to see Josh King had scored 15 PL goals this season and honestly can't work out if I expected more or fewer.

@JordanDenman He's aggressive and tenacious….as back up to Kane I'd have Josh King
