To say that Moussa Sissoko is a pariah at the White Hart Lane is just stating the obvious. The deadline signing of last summer has flattered to deceive the fans and his performances all through have been very ordinary. From the highs of European Championships where he overshadowed Paul Pogba in his national side, Sissoko has fallen sharply in the minds of Spurs fans.
The French midfielder has fallen down the pecking order and is now not in Mauricio Pochettino’s future plans. With an eye on 2018 World Cup, Sissoko wants to play regularly to be in contention for his national side and it won’t happen at Tottenham.
Reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik indicate that a transfer for the player is being discussed between Trabzonspor and Tottenham. According to these reports, a loan-deal has been struck between the two parties.
Not that the fans are complaining – far from it! The £30million that we spent to snare Sissoko from Newcastle United now looks lofty and the Tottenham faithful are happy to see him leave.
Reactions on Twitter portray the moods of the fans of both the clubs.
A Spurs fan minced no words when he said that Sissoko is the worst player he ever saw.
Moussa Sissoko is the worst player I’ve ever seen grace a Football pitch, his first touch killed my rabbit #Trabzonspor @Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor fans seem very excited though and one fan was found predicting that the club would win the Turkish League this season.

Another fan was sarcastically linking the deal to that of Neymar indicating that Sissoko will be a better signing than the Brazilian forward.
I personally think that he will be a better signing than Neymar, wonderful signing for Trapzonspor

@Trabzonspor hi please take sissoko to save me and my sanity ❤️

My guess is Poch won’t let him go until there are players in which can fill his senior squad spot. We are very thin with injuries atm.

The Turkish side Trabzonspor are keen to celebrate their 50th year anniversary by signing a marquee name and Sissoko is on top of that wish list.
Tottenham wouldn’t mind him leaving the side – on loan or permanent – to make space for a new signing. Looks like this is one deal that will keep everyone happy!
