As Tottenham Hotspur get ready to face Stoke City, memories of a 4-0 win in February are still fresh. Harry Kane scored a first-half hat-trick to lead our club to a comfortable win over Stoke.
It was a Kane masterclass that day as all three goals were scored inside 37 minutes before setting up Dele Alli for a fourth in the final moments of the opening half. This was a momentous win for the side as it was our 8th consecutive league win at White Hart Lane.
As the old stadium gets reconstructed into a world-class new stadium, I can only look back at such a wonderful performance from Kane with all the happiness. It was also the game that saw Kane bring up his century of club goals. It was a mesmerising performance from Tottenham that was highlighted by excellent displays from two of our best players – Kane and Alli.
Will we be able to repeat that against Stoke this weekend? Fans on Twitter had mixed reactions to the videos from last season as some fans bemoaned how good we were last season compared to what we are right now.
However, I feel it is important to forget what happened in the last weeks and try starting a run that would take us back into the top-three. What better way than to start against Stoke!
We captured some of the reactions from our fans:
Posting these every week just shows how much better we were last season destroying teams for fun now can barely scrape a draw in the league

Please just try not to post previous match results and stuff because you get all the fans hyped up and then disappoint us with average results just ignore social media and play the game on the pitch

Would love same return from Harry, refreshed after rest in midweek However I’ll be just as happy if we win 1-0 #COYS

And Harry scored a hat-trick the last time we played WBA prior to our last outing, which as we all know ended 1-1 (from 1-0 down)
Hopefully history will not repeat itself! #TDITD #COYS
