Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has agreed to a five-year-deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid, according to reports. Reports emerging from Spain suggest Real are in line for a massive overhaul of their squad after the end of the season. They are very keen to solve their attacking woes at the end of the season, making it a primary objective.

Kane has been heavily linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu after scoring more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski in 2017.

The mercurial striker impressed for Spurs on Tuesday night in the first leg of Champions League round of 16 as he rallied his side to a 2-2 draw against Juventus despite going two goals down.

Madrid have now made their move for the striker with Kane desperate to win trophies at the Spanish capital, report Spanish publication Don Balon. Kane’s advisers have been in constant talks with Real President Florentino Perez and have now reached an agreement for his transfer to take place at the end of the season.

The report adds that the England international will sign a bumper five-year deal with an eye-watering release clause of €1bn in his contract.

However, Real are yet to agree on a fee with Spurs for the striker’s signature and it is understood they are willing to splash as much as €150m. But that is deemed way too short for Spurs as they rate their striker at €200m.

The Mirror Football tweeted today- Tottenham to ‘sell Harry Kane to Real Madrid for £176m’- to which the Spurs fans bashed the transfer rumour. Here we bring you the best of tweets.

  1. If and when Harry Kane ever goes to Real Madrid- CR7 will be gone and the transfer fee will exceed 500 million pounds. Not happening this year folks.
