Tottenham stars Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris became the first players to take a tour around the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium this week.
The Spurs striker and the goalkeeper took a private tour of the ground they will be playing in next season, following their current campaign at Wembley after the destruction of the White Hart Lane.
“Walking out and just seeing how the stands are, it’s incredible, I can’t wait to see it with our fans inside here,” Kane was quoted by Football.London.
“You get goosebumps thinking of all the fans sitting in their seats. It’s going to be amazing and to think we’re not that far away from playing here.
“I remember sitting at White Hart Lane as a fan growing up and watching Tottenham play so to now be part of the team and moving into this big stadium is really exciting.
“I can’t express how much I’m looking forward to playing here, scoring some goals and seeing the passion on the faces of our fans.”
Lloris was quoted by Football.london as saying:
“It’s very impressive and so compact. When it’s full it’s going to be awesome. We are looking forward – we need a big, big atmosphere in this stadium. It’s going to be very modern, one of the best in Europe and we are lucky to be part of this project.
“It’s a dream as a player to play in front of 62,000 home fans and a privilege. We’re going to try to share with them great emotion and to share our passion together.”
Delighted with seeing Kane and Lloris experience the feel of the new stadium, here is how the Spurs fans reacted on Twitter.
If Harry has a bad ankle injury taking such a high angle selfie would have toppled him over. Glad to know he’s able to IG story still

That is certainly not enough protection for them. Should be wrapped with battle armor!
