A battle could be brewing between Tottenham and Barcelona as both clubs are interested in youth players, which could make for an interesting summer.
A report from the Daily Star claims that the Catalan giants are interested in Reo Griffiths and will look to sign the youngster once he turns 18.
The club would have to pay a compensation to Spurs but it would not be as large as what a Premier League team would have to stump out.
Griffiths scored 34 goals this season for us but we have also been tracking Barca’s rising star, Ricard Piug. This bit of news certainly interested a number of Spurs fans as there have been rumours of Griffiths looking to sign a new deal with the club and he would become the latest in a long line of players to commit their future to the club if he does sign a deal with us.
