After a lot of speculation, Mauricio Pochettino recently signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur which will see him stay here for a long time and it seems like our gaffer is in no mood to waste time as far as the summer transfers are concerned.

As per a report from The Mirror, Pochettino has plans of signing Anthony Martial, Ryan Sessegnon and Matthijs De Ligt in the ongoing transfer window.

Signing these players would undoubtedly strengthen our squad in numerous ways. Martial is an exceptional winger and he will come in handy when it comes to providing competition for the likes of Heung-min Son and Christian Eriksen.

Sessegnon has earned rave reviews for his performances at Fulham over the course of the season and he is already being primed for a bright future in the English top-flight. Landing him would undoubtedly be a great deal for Tottenham, given his ability to play anywhere on the left-hand side.

De Ligt is another player would go a long way in helping us, reinforcing our central defence. Toby Alderweireld’s future continues to be uncertain but we have a formidable pair in the form of Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen. However, going forward, a player like De Ligt will add some much-needed depth to our forces at the back.

Furthermore, these 3 players are all young and immensely talented, meaning they tick all the boxes on Pochettino’s checklist.

The amount of competition for these players will be fierce but if we are able to land even one of them, it will be good business for us.
