There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld’s future and as per a report from Daily Star, it looks like the Belgian is set for an exit this summer.
The report claims Mauricio Pochettino has given the nod for Alderweireld to move and the player is expected to join Manchester United this summer. The 29-year-old is rightfully regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League and losing him will come as a major blow for us.
Though we have the solid Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen as options in that area, it will be important for our gaffer to seek reinforcements this summer.
