According to a report by Tottenham Hotspur’s official website, tiles are being installed on the exterior part of our new stadium. These tiles are dark blue in colour and we all know that the colour holds a special significance in our footballing journey as a club. The tiles will feature some of our club’s most famous sayings and slogans in our bespoke font.
These slogans will form a key part of the new ground since they will show the world what we stand for. Every club has its own set of values and cultural notes that are deeply embedded in the club’s heritage and it is great to see that our stadium will represent those core messages.
As things stand, there has been a lot of hype and excitement surrounding the construction of our new £850m stadium.
The report further claims that the West Atrium of the stadium will have the words ‘ESTABLISHED 1882’ on the exterior and these tiles are understood to be visible from High Road. In addition to that, ‘TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR’ will be installed on the other side and that part will also include our club’s badge.
As far as the East Atrium is concerned, the words ‘LONDON N17’ will appear on one side and the other will feature a quote from club icon Danny Blanchflower which includes the words ‘The GAME IS ABOUT GLORY’.
The North West corner will house our club’s motto ‘TO DARE IS TO DO’ whereas the North East corner will feature the same saying but in its Latin form, ‘AUDERE EST FACERE’.
Safe to say that these updates are only fanning the increasing excitement and let’s hope the stadium is unveiled soon enough.
