Tottenham did not bring in any new players in the summer window but that does not mean we are not excited for another Premier League season.

Last season, we finished third and also had a pretty good run in the Champions League with victories over Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the group stages.

Our first game of the season is against Newcastle United and the team were being put through the paces as we look to start the season off with a bang.

The club state that players such as Harry Winks and Josh Onomah are slowly being put back into the first-team training after their respective injuries.

Juan Foyth is another player who is coming back from an injury but the club did mention that the Argentine defender could be out for a couple of weeks, at the least. Even Erik Lamela is out for a while according to the club.

Most of our first-team is back in training as the club shared pictures of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and a host of other players.

The Dane and Alli were away with their respective national sides at the World Cup and would be key players in our upcoming season.

We also caught a glimpse of Eric Dier towering over Serge Aurier while we got to see one of the best players in the world too.

Harry Kane won the Golden Boot at the World Cup for England and he was pictured with Kieran Trippier as the pair, with Dier, Alli and Danny Rose, helped the Three Lions finish fourth in the tournament.

Kane must aim to reclaim the Golden Boot in the Premier League too after he lost it to Mohamed Salah last time around.

It will be interesting to see what team Mauricio Pochettino plays against the Magpies away from home. A number of our players were away due to their commitments at the World Cup but we should be looking for three points at St. James’ Park.
