Tottenham are interested in Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to the Mirror.
The 21-year-old central defender has been in decent form for the Serie A side and has a couple of goals from eight league games.
There is a lot of interest for the 21-year-old as Manchester United are keeping tabs on the player, as per the report.
The youngster joined the Serie A side last season from Partizan Belgrade and played 17 games in all competitions.
Tottenham didn’t sign a single player in the summer window but we do have options in the heart of the defence.
Milenkovic could be a smart signing from Mauricio Pochettino, given he is young and can develop into a quality football.

Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are the three that fight for the first-team central defensive positions. While Spurs have youngsters such as Juan Foyth trying to get playing time in the first-team.
It would be interesting to see just how Milnekovic slots into our team, should we sign him.

There is still a question mark over Toby Alderweireld’s future. The Belgian’s contract is up in the summer but we can extend it by another year, as per the report. That would also mean Alderweireld could leave next summer for £25million.
