Hugo Lloris could have cost Tottenham a chance at the knockout stages of the Champions League. The captain was sent off for a rash tackle on Hirving Lozano in the 79th minute and we let a 2-1 lead slip when PSV scored late on in the game.
We should have secured a win against the Dutch side as our final two games of the group are against Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Although we played well and raced to a 2-1 lead, not scoring again ultimately cost us two points. This wasn’t the first time that Lloris has come under the limelight for a mistake, but this could have been the biggest one he has made in a Spurs jersey.
The 31-year-old didn’t get any sympathy from the Spurs fans as they had a real go at the captain for letting the team down.
Hugo Lloris was a great goalkeeper! He made the odd mistake that cost us 1 game per season but probably won us 5 games. However now he is making far too many crucial mistakes. Gazza needs to take gloves from Monday & Kane made Captain. Poch needs to be ruthless. #COYS

Hugo Lloris is fast becoming an incarnation of Heurelho Gomes. Lots of amazing saves and then a shocker that decides matches (not today). And then theres that drunk driving also. Don’t know what to think of him anymore. So disappointed. #thfc #COYS

Away to PSV, in absolute total control, & I literally said “I cannot see us not winning unless we get a red card or something”

We’ll win literally nothing with Lloris as our keeper – keepers win titles and ours lets us down to often. Needs upgrading this summer #THFC #COYS

Hugo Lloris has too many moments of absolute madness.
Really think we should be bedding Gazzaniga as a future keeper and getting another keeper on top of that.

No denying Hugo Lloris is one of the greatest shot-stoppers we have ever had, however you can’t defend his lack of judgement and moments of madness in our biggest games.
What is most concerning is the errors are becoming more frequent and characteristic of his game.#THFC #COYS

Im convinced that Lloris must have lost a yard of pace because his decision making couldn’t become that bad overnight #COYS
