Moussa Sissoko has turned his Tottenham career around this season. The Frenchman has struggled since moving from Newcastle in 2016, but his performances this season has steadily proved the midfielder is quality.
The 29-year-old was one of the stars in our 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, and his form has earned him a call-up to the France national side.
🇫🇷 @MoussaSissoko has been called up to France’s squad for their upcoming matches against the Netherlands and Uruguay.
Well done, Moussa! 👏#COYS pic.twitter.com/riOKzDZ02w

The Frenchman was on the standby list for the World Cup team a few months ago and picked up a runners-up medal from Euro 2016.
The 29-year-old recently thanked the fans for their support during the Palace win, and hopefully, the Frenchman gets some minutes on the pitch for the national team.
The call-up is the least the midfielder deserves after some tough years since his move from Newcastle, and many Tottenham fans were happy Sissoko was playing international football again.

So happy for him. The abuse he has had to take is ridiculous. What strength of character not to crumble, but to keep going. Good luck Moussa.

I think he received the criticism not because he is a bad player but because he was a great player not playing well but the fact that he has turned it all around and is back to the real Sissoko justifies his selection and the fans singing his name #17powerhouse
